The ladies of Shes Polished! has just finished an impromptu meeting about dating. The synopsis being dating is like a highway. Aspiring entrepreneurial women like ourselves having to choose between 2 specific groups of men that keep appearing on our dating travels. We are serious about our life goals but still have a cool laid back attitude and like to have fun. Fast lane men for us means well established in their career, educated, attractive, ambitious, focused and possibly more conservative than we would like. The slow lane men we defined to be those that show little enthusiasm for life or their future, not concerned with self improvement, and a lack of real direction, fun, and carefree..about everything.
We were thinking fast lane men are great in that they only increase your drive for life, which would be good...but, whether real or imagined the idea of being on your best behaviour all the time and never really being able to relax wouldn't be fun. On the other hand, we could be saying that to make that the obstacle of meeting those men. Slow lane men we both have come across in our dating lives. They allow you to relax all the time! lol they don't need you to be putting on your business hat. The problem is that these men provide little challenge, their potential requires lonnng term planning.
Whatever lane you choose ladies the ride almost certainly will have unavoidable potholes. Choose wisely!'
